WEEKLY WISHES #9
Happy Monday! Hope your transition into the workweek is going well. After a super hectic weekend working 14 hour days, I’m actually relieved it’s Monday. On top of that, it is above freezing today. For the first time in what seems like forever!
I thought I’d start this week off right with a little goal setting.
(a quick snap from the backyard this afternoon. it’s been so cold that 40 degrees feels like summer! but I was totally standing in a 4 foot snowbank to take this pic.)
Re-capping my last goals:
1. Pack and ship ALL THE CARDS. Done! So done. The above mentioned 14 hour days were spent prepping and packaging for upcoming spring orders. It was sort of an ordeal. But I am happy to report that I am now through it, and am ready as a spring chicken for…well…spring.
2. Research some conferences/summits/events to attend in 2015. Didn’t get a chance to get to this goal. I’m going to move it to this week. We’re already in March and I need to get my act in gear!
On to this week:
1. Fixing up the labeling situation. I’m happy with the way the product packaging looks in the shop, but I’ve come to the realization that it just takes me too long to assemble and put together. As a one-lady operation, I just can’t afford the extra time it takes to do things the way I’m currently doing them. I’ve gotta come up with a better labeling system that still looks great but is more streamlined. Wish me luck on this one!
2. Find a stellar dinner spot for our trip to NYC this weekend. My husband and I are headed to NYC for the weekend and I am soooo looking forward to going. We’re in town to see John Mulaney at Carnegie Hall. (His stand up is fantastic, and the venue can’t be beat!) Usually we’re more into winging it when we travel, but I like to research and plan one nice dinner out. Any NYC rec’s would be welcomed!
Enjoy your Monday! And if you’re up North, I hope you’re enjoying the minor thaw out!
