Happy Friday, guys! I thought I’d stop with with a little update of the latest card set I’ve added to the shop. I’m really excited about these!

But first, if you’ll indulge me, a little background to these cards.  When I was a kid, I never had any ideas about weddings. While other little girls my age were enamored with the idea of marrying their stuffed animals or playing a lot of games of MASH to find out just who the lucky guy might be, I was having none of it. Maybe it was my no-nonsense kind of personality showing through at a young age, but I just would have rather done anything else than marry Mr & Mrs bear for the 100th time.

This may have carried on into adulthood. Instead of a big traditional wedding, my husband and I decided to elope in Bora Bora early last year. This meant a lot of the “traditional” wedding stuff was not applicable to us (and frankly that was part of the appeal!), but one “wedding-y” thing I got to partake in was some beautiful wedding stationary – announcements to our close family and friends that let them know we tied the knot, and thank you cards for those generous people that acknowledged our little celebration. To say I really loved the process of designing and creating them would be an understatement!

So when I started brainstorming ideas for stationary sets I wanted to create in the first months of my print shop, I knew a wedding set would be pretty close to the top. So I came up with “Thank You From The New Mr & Mrs” – take a look below if you’d like.

I really wanted to make sure that the quality of these cards were second-to-none so I upped to the maximum thickness of card stock possible. They look and feel luxurious. Something that I hope newlyweds will be proud to send to well-wishers.

I also went with a satin-black lined envelope. I like that it ties in to the neutral design of the card and adds a little somethin’ somethin’. It was important to me to keep this set black and white and neither too masculine or feminine, so that even if you’ve already sent invites or other wedding stationary, these thank you notes will tie in seamlessly.

Releasing them just in time for the end of wedding season. I never said I was timely.
